2. Website hosting, delivery and server logs

The website is deployed using OpenAI Sites and delivered through Cloudflare's network. When you access the website, the technical providers may process data required to deliver and protect the service, including your IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL or file, HTTP status, transferred data volume, referrer URL, browser and operating-system information, language or locale, and security or routing information.

Purpose: delivering the website, maintaining availability and performance, preventing abuse and attacks, and diagnosing technical errors.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website.
Recipients: OpenAI, L.L.C. as the managed website deployment provider and Cloudflare, Inc. as the network, security and content-delivery provider.
Retention: technical logs are retained only for as long as required for operation, security, abuse prevention and error analysis, subject to the providers' applicable retention rules.

3. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, we process the name, email address and message you provide. The information is transmitted directly from your browser to FormSubmit and forwarded to info@carcrew.app by email. FormSubmit also processes the technical connection data required to secure and operate the form-delivery service.

Purpose: receiving, processing and replying to your request.
Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where your request concerns a contract or steps before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Recipients: FormSubmit and the email providers involved in delivering and storing the message.
Retention: FormSubmit states that form submissions are retained for 30 days. We retain the resulting email until your request is resolved and thereafter only where required for follow-up, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

CarCrew does not use marketing or analytics trackers on this website and does not set optional advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, such as __cf_bm, to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated or abusive requests and to protect the website.

Purpose: security, bot detection and reliable website delivery.
Legal basis: Section 25(2) TDDDG for access that is strictly necessary to provide the requested service and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the associated processing.

5. External links

The website contains links to external services, including the App Store, Instagram and X. No data is sent to those services merely because their text link appears on this website. If you follow a link, the destination provider processes your request under its own privacy policy.

6. International data transfers

Some service providers are based in the United States or may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or for as long as legal retention obligations or legitimate needs to establish, exercise or defend legal claims apply. The more specific periods for server logs and contact requests are described above. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable requirements, you have the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, data portability under Art. 20 GDPR and objection under Art. 21 GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time under Art. 7(3) GDPR with effect for the future.
